SMS Texting Terms and Conditions – Agreement to Receive Text Messages

These Terms and Conditions apply only when you have given prior consent to receive text messages from Stanton Equine Veterinary Services. By providing your mobile number, whether that be by filling out a ‘New/Returning Client Form,’ or by giving consent via text message or a phone conversation, you agree that Stanton Equine Veterinary Services may send you one-time or reoccurring SMS messages related to the following, or in response to a text message received.

  • Appointment scheduling: SMS messages may be used to conveniently discuss options for booking days and times, as well as to obtain information regarding location of the appointment, preparations for the appointment, or information relating to the purpose of the appointment. You may also receive SMS messages asking you to confirm your appointment, or to notify you of any changes to your appointment.
  • Care management for your horse: SMS messages may include updates related to your last appointment, answers to follow-up questions, instructions regarding follow-up care, information regarding referrals, etc..
  • Medication pick-up arrangements and instructions: SMS messages may be used to notify you when you medications are available for pick-up, or to arrange pick-up scheduling. You may also receive instructions regarding medications via SMS message, or answers to specific questions you may have regarding the medications via SMS message.
  • Billing and payment: SMS messages may be used to notify you of past due invoices, or confirmation that payments have been processed. SMS messages pertaining to past due invoices may be sent up to once weekly.

You will not receive any promotional information or materials from Stanton Equine Veterinary Services via SMS message.
The frequency of SMS messages received by Stanton Equine Veterinary Services will depend only on the frequency with which you require our services, and/or information regarding our services, including follow-up discussions and instructions. The only exception to this will be in the case of unpaid invoices, when SMS messages may be sent up to once weekly as a reminder.
Your wireless carrier’s message and data rates may apply to any SMS correspondence with Stanton Equine Veterinary Services. Stanton Equine Veterinary Services does not charge for any SMS messages.

Data obtained from you in connection with this SMS service may include your cell phone number, the date, time and content of your messages as well as other information that you provide. We may use this information to contact you and to provide the services you request from us.

By subscribing to this service or otherwise using the service, you acknowledge and agree that we will have the right to change and/or terminate the service at any time, with or without cause and/or advance notice.

You opt-out of SMS message correspondence with Stanton Equine Veterinary Services at any time. If you no longer wish to receive text messages please call (602) 661-2205, or text STOP to the same number. You may receive a subsequent message confirming your opt-out request.

You may re-enroll in the program and receive SMS messages from us at anytime by calling (602) 661-2205, or texting the same number.
